  1. STAGES needs an animal type.  Once an animal has been selected,
  2. STAGES can read the appropriate files to obtain the data on that
  3. animal's cycle of the seminiferous epithelium.

  5. By entering '1', STAGES will list the animals for which it can
  6. access data.  STAGES cannot proceed until an animal is selected.
